Reina "Rei" Masuu

Rabbit-Human Hybrid

First Appearance: December 3, 2025

Reina is the titular "Codename Rei", although that's just the title most know her as. She's an adventurous spirit who loves nothing more than to go out and about and do stuff. However once the situation calls for it, she can be extremely serious, nearly coming across as cold, though she rarely means it that way. She's also quite the flirt, and she will use it to her advantage, however this isn't always the case, especially when it comes to Fern.

Lastly, she really likes wearing anything that makes her feel 'out and about', especially said 'fit throughout the comic.

Zuzuka "Zuzu" M. Remuki

Cat=Human Hybrid

First Appearance: January 7, 2026

Zuzu is Rei's ride-or-die. They've been best friends for as long as they can remember. She's always been how she is currently; a wildcard, to put it bluntly. She's loud and proud, and she will kick some ass if prompted. She also owns a vacuum cleaner with car functionality. If only we had that in this day and age. If only..

She's also very hard to make mad, but beware if you do, or in some words I'm sure she's said at some point, "you won't like me, yo!"

Kosin Remuki

Human

First Appearance: January 13, 2026

Kosin, in terms of the story, is a bit player. He's usually the grounding point to the chaos his sister Zuzu brings. Does she listen? Depends. Either way, he's there to usually provide some sensible saying.. unless Rei's around.

See, when Rei's around, poor Kosin gets the shakes and the tomato face. Rei rarely notices, but Zuzu sure does. She teases him, or she scolds him as gently as possible for.. honestly neither of them know. It's certainly a funny dynamic.

Mashiko "Mashi" Masuu

Rabbit-Human Hybrid

First Appearance: November 3, 2025 (LoD), March 15, 2026 (in CR)

Mashi is Rei's sister. She's highly energetic and very exciteable. She's infamous around the city for being the only decent 'entertainment' in town, seeing as she's a TV magician with a flair for the dramatics. She'd love it if she could get out of her little public access TV station and make it in the big leagues but that probably won't happen. In terms of the story, production of her program has been halted by her current situation with the Force twins, shown below. The whole ordeal is explained in chapter 2.

She and Rei have a comedic dynamic; as much as they like to bicker, and as much chaos as she brings in that Rei has to chase out, they still love each other dearly.

Mashi was originally a bit player in a previous comic I did, Legends of Dumbness.

Metal and Zeevil Force

Alien-Cat-Goblins

First Appearance: January 29, 2026

Zeevil's the one in blue, and Metal's the one in orange. They're both highly incompetent at being the primary villains of the comic. Metal likes to fancy himself a gentleman, even though he has a shoestring temper. Zeevil's a bit nicer, but he has a tendency to go with whatever is calling to him, as well as his huge obsession with sponges. Zeevil also has a tendency to stick canes up his butt, something which Metal has aspired to cease altogether.

As for what they are, 'alien-cat-goblin' is nothing more than a guess. All that's really known is that they came from some sector in space, but whether or not that actually is true is highly up for debate..

Fern L. Mano

Bat-Cat-Human Hybrid

First Appearance: January 24, 2026

Fern has the ears of a bat and the tail of a cat. Either way, she's an absolute delight to be around. She works as a waitress at Zuzu's favorite diner. Rei has a very noticeable crush on her. Outside of her job, she likes nice, sunny days and going for long walks. She's extremely sweet to the point of metaphorical cavities, and she's extremely patient as well, even when all sorts of nonsense is going on around her. In terms of the story so far, she's once again a bit player.

X-2

Human

First Appearance: February 12, 2026

X-2 certainly is.. something. Ignoring the fact that he dresses like a knockoff Proto Man you could find at a flea market for five bucks, he's prone to extremely loud greetings, just so you know that X-2 is in the room. He also has the magical habit of showing up whenever he thinks he's being called for something.. which can explain how Metal and Zeevil consistently mess up his moniker and prefer to call him "Project X-8" when he isn't that much of a project.

Despite his loud introduction statements, he's actually quite cool and collected immediately afterwards. Heck, he seems to be okay with Rei and Zuzu (though Zuzu also can't remember his moniker). He's also quite the strategizer, and when he thinks of a plan, he will say it.

V.V

???

First Appearance: April 25, 2026

Not much is really known about this elusive character, or if V.V is their actual name. All we really know is that they're quite determined for Rei. Metal and Zeevil are V.V's minions, most likely because they'd do whatever it is for cheap.. the problem is, it's Metal and Zeevil. Good going, V.V, you genius.
